Board of Assessment Appeals

An elected board of 3 members that are responsible to hear any resident who wishes to challenge the amount of any assessment of taxable property.

The board has the authority to increase, decrease or keep the same any value that is established by the Town’s Assessor in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the Town of Seymour and the Connecticut General Statues.
