Registrar of Voters

Hours:
Monday - 10:00am to 2:00pm
Tuesday - 10:00am to 2:00pm
Wednesday - 1:00pm to 5:00pm

 

The Registrar of Voters is responsible for the following:

  • conducting the annual canvass of registered voters between January and May to ensure records are accurate and complete

  • managing elections, primaries and referenda

  • locating and training poll workers

  • handling requests for voter registration and education

  • processing mail-in and cross-town voter registrations

Voters wishing to change their enrollment from one major political party to another have until January 24th 2012 to do so and be able to vote in that party's Presidential Primary which will be held on April 24, 2012.  Please call the Seymour Registrars of Voters fro more information at (203)881-5039.
