Attention all Seymour
Families who have middle school aged kids:
The Cougar's Den Program has been temporarily suspended;
therefore Friday, January 27, 2012 event has been cancelled. The
reason for our actions is due to the poor, behavior, lack of
respect for equipment & facility and the general attitude of
several of our participants. The Recreation Commission at its
monthly meeting on, Wednesday, January 25,2012 felt at this time
if we cannot secure more parent/adult volunteers to help
supervise this program it may not be able to continue, therefore
the suspension may last longer than we would like. A new
schedule is forthcoming. Please feel free to call the Seymour
Recreation Department at
203-888-0406 if you have any questions or would like to
volunteer for future dates.

Seymour Recreation
Department is sponsoring Yoga class that will start on
October 19th 6 weeks and will cost $60.00.
The time is 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Recreation Center. For

Karate Classes to be held at the Seymour Community Center Twice
weekly.
Ages 6-11- Beginners Class-Tuesdays
& Thursdays

Ages 6-11-Intermediate/Advanced
Class-Tuesdays & Thursdays
4:45 p.m.-5:45 p.m.
Ages 11 & Up-Beginners Class-Tuesdays &

Tuition is $65.00 p/month.
