A 5-member appointed Board responsible for the management and supervision of the Department of Public Works as well as purchase and maintenance of the Department’s property and equipment. They must approve annual budget proposals and submit, monitor and approve a 5-year capital plan for the Department’s equipment needs. This board must approve all financial transfers, establish operational directives to be enforced by the Director of Public Works, and establish rules and regulations governing the Department’s personnel and their compensation.
