NVCOG is holding a backyard composter and rain barrel sale event this spring.  The sale will offer quality composters, rain barrels and accessories at discounted prices to residents of the Naugatuck Valley Region.  An online store can be accessed at www.nvcogct.gov/compostersale. Residents that purchase items from the online store before May 19 will pick up their items at one of two pick up events on Saturday, May 21.  Products will be distributed to residents with the assistance of COG staff and volunteers. 

Residents from our 19 municipalities are encouraged to visit the website and reserve a compost bin, rain barrel, or accessories through the online store. Item pickup is on Saturday, May 21, from 9am – 11am at the Seymour Recreation Center (20 Pine Street, Seymour) and from 1pm – 3pm at the Bethlehem Fire Department (26 Main Street South, Bethlehem).  Thank you to all the municipalities who reached out offering to host; there will likely be additional opportunities with future events.
