📝 Board of Assessment Appeals

Purpose:
An elected 3-member board that hears appeals from residents who wish to challenge the assessed value of their taxable property.

The board has the authority to:

• Increase, decrease, or affirm property values set by the Town’s Assessor
• Act following the Town Charter and the Connecticut General Statutes
