About the Board
The Board of Police Commissioners is a 5-member elected board responsible for:
- Managing and supervising the Police Department
- Overseeing property and equipment purchasing and maintenance
- Establishing directives and personnel regulations (including compensation)
- Appointing all personnel and approving drug seizure expenditures
- Exercising jurisdiction over traffic and parking within Seymour
