A 5-member appointed board that maintains an index of all open areas, public and private, including marshlands, swamps and other wetlands for the purpose of obtaining information on the proper use of such areas. It may make recommendations to the Planning & Zoning Commission and the Board of Selectmen as required regarding proper use and development of these areas and acquisition and granting of easements thereon.
