About the Board
The Board of Finance is a 7-member elected board serving as the budget-making authority for the Town of Seymour.
The Board is responsible for:
- Preparing, managing, and monitoring the annual Town budget
- Working with the First Selectman and Finance Director to create a long-range financial plan
- Having access to the Town’s financial records and books as needed
