Connecticut’s Presidential Preference Primaries will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. 

All three polling places will be open from 6:00 am until 8:00 pm

Voters must be affiliated with a major party in order to vote in that party's Primary.

Unaffiliated voters have until noon on April 1st to affiliate with a party in order to vote on April 2nd.

Early Voting

Early Voting for the Presidential Preference Primaries will be held in the Norma Drummer Room (downstairs) in Seymour Town Hall from 10 am to 6pm on:

Tuesday March 26^th, Wednesday March 27^th, Thursday March 28^th, and Saturday March 30^th. 

Unaffiliated voters must affiliate with a party by noon on Monday March 25^th tin order to vote early in the Presidential Preference Primary.

The Registrar of Voters is responsible for the following:

• conducting the annual canvass of registered voters between January and May to ensure records are accurate and complete
• managing elections, primaries and referenda
• locating and training poll workers
• handling requests for voter registration and education
• processing mail-in and in person voter registrations
