Purpose:
A 5-member appointed board that hears petitions from residents requesting variances from the Town’s Zoning Ordinances. Variances — sometimes with stipulations — may be granted for reasons such as:

• Undue hardship
• Unique physical characteristics of the property
• Other exceptional circumstances
